Belly & Back Focused Therapy for Improved Pelvic & Menstrual health & Belly Health.
Elizabeth Stein has been in the wellness industry for over 16 years and she just keeps gaining more experience and knowledge as she goes through life. She works both in person and remotely (phone or internet) with a loving, covert speciality at helping those who see her love and appreciate their bodies more. Many of Elizabeth's clients often exclaim at some point in their treatment protocol, "You taught me to love my body!".
In addition to assisting others learn to love themselves better, Elizabeth has extensively trained in the abdominal healing arts such as Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy (she was once an Arvigo® teacher), Chi Nei Tsang, and the Gentling Way (based currently only in Australia and New Zealand). She's also trained extensively in wholistic pelvic floor care and restoration, along with birth (She has a doula certification) and somatic birth exercises.
Elizabeth's main focus is women's based care, however men and other genders on the gender spectrum are welcome too. Abdominal therapies are good for most digestive and general human body plumbing issues related to the urinary system, menstruation, womb health, and digestive issues.
People usually remember to get their hair, teeth and bodies looked after but not their bellies. The belly is where 70% of the immune system resides, assimilation of food and water happens, and where many harmful materials and wastes are removed and eliminated. If the plumbing isn't working, nothings really working.
Isn't the belly just as important as any other body part if not more so than other parts? In addition to the above, the belly is considered a second brain, so why not make sure our second brain works optimally! When a belly has adhesions and/ or stuck places, it often communicates this with us through digestive, reproductive, and/or urinary issues, or random unexplained pains.
Below is a short list of issues that maybe helped with a well trained abdominal therapist.
For those interested in consultations, Elizabeth is well versed in many of the topics above and can generally guide people in a good direction. She's also been through a number of female health challenges in her life and worked with 100's of clients on various issues. She's also had several close male friends and family go through male issues so she's versed in many male health related topics too. She's glad to be a compassionate listener and offer what ever helpful suggestions and guidance she has plus research other options.
