Elizabeth has been around the block a few times when it comes to health and wellbeing. She also knows that others in the health profession do not always know or give all the information for others to make truly informed decisions about their health. This isn't necessarily out of any maliciousness or with holding by other practitioners, but really a lack of exposure to all that is out there, including information and education.
Elizabeth is not a medical doctor(though she considered becoming one at one point), however, through her own health crises with all kinds of pelvic floor dysfunction, menstrual issues, PCOS, a retroverted uterus (now forward facing in it's proper position), pelvic surgeries and an early life time of chronic constipation and digestive issues, Elizabeth knows a lot about the above issues first hand. Also, she's experimented with many diet fads such as no sugar, low fruit, low carb, raw, paleo, veganism and vegetarism. Additionally, she has worked alongside many leading holistic health professionals in a variety of fields from cranial sacral, energy medicine, shamanism, osteopathy, midwifery, acupuncture, naturopathy, sports medicine, and functional medicine.
Currently, she has overcome her health challenges listed above and now helps others do the same, or at the least find resources so they can carry on.
Her goal is to help others comeback to center with knowledge and intuition and to find the best strategy / plan for each individual. She does this through the sharing of information, intuition, life experience, smart/scientifically based research, and compassionate listening. She also has a vast network of like minded, talented and varied wellness practitioners all over the globe to refer out to when needed.
Elizabeth is adapt at cutting through the clutter of information and miss-information to assist you to find your own conclusions about what is the right choice for you and your own personal circumstances.
Read more to find out about her coaching package options below.
1. Well Eating
Cut through the clutter of fad diets and information on what eating well means. Here’s a tip, not everyone is going to thrive on the same diet, as people are individuals and come from diverse backgrounds, both genetically and biologically.
What we eat and how we eat is important and we are all starting at different places. This requires someone sensitive enough to meet others where they are at and talk straight about healthy eating.
Elizabeth uses her years of experience with food, health, diets, and healing, having been exposed to some of the leaders in the food health fields to help you better understand your body and your unique biological needs.
This program is about optimizing food so you can better thrive and understand all about what wellness eating really is.
Some diets are appropriate short term but can cause long term damage if continued on a long term basis. We’ll discuss all of this and look at your unique health goals and where you may still be confused and want to clear things up.
2. Clean Living & Shopping
This coaching program ties in nicely with Well Eating. Apart of well eating is clean living and shopping. We have to think about our cleaning products, beauty products, and the environments we live in. Some brands and companies are safer than others and also many of us are on budgets so we can also strategize here how to shop and live as clean and cheaply as possible.
Just because a product says it’s organic, chemical free, or 'natural', doesn’t necessarily mean it is really safe. You’ll also be taken step by step to what is ok and what isn’t ok to buy and how to better travel and keep things as clean as possible.
3. Intuitive Eating
Intuition is a gift we all have and share. It’s about being in clear open communication with our body to ‘know’ what is right for us. There are always signs when we know how to listen and what to look for. The trick to this maybe to ‘re-learn’ to listen and get through what we think we want or need to eat vs. feeling into what the body is really craving.
Food is such an intimate part of anyone’s life. Get intuitive Eating coaching when you just want to know better how to eat well for yourself without getting all the expensive tests or needing someone from the outside to tell you what is right for you. This program may not be for the faint of heart, as it can take real strength of character and an internal stillness to listen to and accept our body's true desire for certain food, not what the mind thinks it wants!
The side bonus here, however, is as we get more clear with what is and isn’t right for us physically to consume, so too we become more intuitive and clear in other parts of our life. Who doesn't want more clarity!
Intuitive eating pairs well with Intuitive shopping.
4. Constipation Management
Personally, Elizabeth has struggled with constipation from a very early age and for a large part of her adult life. Through this journey she learned a lot of tricks and strategies to manage this issue and also how to eventually keep it at bay (plus stay out of the hospital)!
When the plumbing isn’t working right, it’s hard to enjoy other areas of life, plus it's so important to keep the plumping working well for total wellbeing! Would you live in a house with a backed up toilet? The body should be treated the same.
5. Birth Planing
Elizabeth has studied birth and birthing since her 20’s and has a doula certification from the La Matrona, based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. She's studied with Whapio, Heather Bruce (Heather’s Gentling Ways™), and Maha Al Musa (the EmbodyBirth™ method) all leaders in the integrative birthing fields. Elizabeth is also an EmbodyBirth™ teacher and Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Teacher and practitioner. This all means she has first hand and intimate knowledge about the process of birth.
Birth is an important transition and right of passage for any woman no matter if this is her first or 9th+ baby. There is much to be considered for this time and it’s a good idea to have a plan.
6. Natural Fertility Awareness
Have you ever wanted a birth control system about as effective if not more effective than using condoms or hormonal birth control?
Want to know if Natural Fertility Awareness is right for you?
Want to understand your fertility cycles better?
Did you know not every woman is on a 28 day cycle and the cycle can change through out a woman's life?
A body is living and organic and so is a woman’s reproductive cycle. Fertility management methods are good to know for either trying to have a baby or managing fertility to avoid having a baby. Knowing some of these methods of fertility management can also tell a woman a great deal about her current health so she can take measures now or later to improve her fertility health for when she is ready to have a baby.
If you’d like to understand your reproductive cycle, especially pregnancy prevention, this is an excellent fertility mentoring program to feel more confident and comfortable reading your fertility signs or just managing fertility in general.
7. HPV/Cervical Dysplasia recovery
Have you just been diagnosed with HVP and/or Cervical Dysplasia and don't know what to do?
These two issues often go together as certain strains of HPV are known to directly cause cervical dysplasia.
Did you know there are over a 100 strains of HPV but only a handful cause the cellular mutations linked to cervical cancer?
Elizabeth had severe cervical dysplasia, so bad, she almost lost her cervix, or chunks of it, in her early 20’s. She came within one cell mutation of being diagnosed with cervical cancer and at the time the doctor could actually see the rapid mutation on her cervix in a very short period of time.
Elizabeth can help you navigate the fear, misinformation, and confusion around this serious but manageable issue. There are alternatives to LEEP (Loop electrosurgical excision procedure ). All of this will be discussed in a coaching and consultation session.
8. Pelvic Floor Recovery
Pelvic floor health is really important and very poorly understood. Few want to talk about or even acknowledge this issue issue seriously, until they have an issue.
Your pelvic floor is keeping all your innards up and in and when things aren’t going good down there, things are literally falling out. Newly rampant issues like prolapse, hernia, or hemorrhoid are all fairly easy to prevent and sometimes correct with a little TLC and simple lifestyle choices. The trick is to not wait too long at the onset of these issues to have the greatest change at good management and/or partial or complete recovery. Each person's experience will be unique on this journey as each person is unique and their are many diverse factors at play, but good pelvic floor health is easy to maintain with the proper knowledge and care.
Don't suffer alone and see what you can do to preserve your current health or see about correcting a current pelvic floor issue.
9. Reducing Stress and Stressful Thoughts
Elizabeth is a huge fan of The Work of Byron Katie and has studied and practiced it for many years, since 2010. She has attended several 4 day seminars in New Zealand and has practiced it regularly alone or with a buddy. The Work has been been instrumental in her own emotional and mental wellbeing and she can confidently guide you through the basics of doing The Work. Elizabeth has a keen sense both through listening and intuition to cut quickly to the heart of what is truly the stressful thought. Are you ready for the truth and getting clear and quiet?
In addition to The Work, Elizabeth has experience with meditation (including leading group meditations), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique- a.k.a. tapping), journaling, art therapy, and inner child healing work.
10. Energy Hygiene for Service Providers, Body Workers and, Empaths
Do you feel drained after working with clients?
Are you an empath and feel so much, you are overwhelmed or do you feel like it’s hard to function with the rest of the world after treating clients?
Are you naturally a happy or centered person but when you are around others (maybe it’s just particular people), that all seems to shift and you have a hard time getting back to you?
Is going out to public places anxiety inducing?
You are not alone. Being a sensitive person and working with others comes with special challenges. Learn to use your gifts as a sensitive/empath to most effectively help others while keeping yourself safe and grounded.
Elizabeth has over 15 years in the health and wellness industry and other industries and can guide other sensitives to build their strength and skill sets to better function in the world.
This may not be one of your standard coaching programs but it’s one that can literally be lifesaving and certainly add quality (if not sanity) to one’s life and practice.
Feel free to ask for something outside this list you have an interest in and Elizabeth will see if she can help you.
